As I've said, I am new to all this techno/web/blog so this is a triumph for me. Even at the ripe old age of 54, I have always been one for practical hands on stuff, so it's refreshing for me to figure out blogging.
Fortunately, I can now share all aspects of my little, frugal mid-life and hope that any small snipits may inspire or just give someone a 'light-bulb' moment into a life that doesn't have to be full of racing around 'keeping up with the Jones'.and living beyond our means.I have spent years of doing that and now the quiet, simple life is for me.
My allotment is not only going to provide me with healthy, inexpensive veg and fruit, but also will help me become fit and chilled out. The people I have met there so far are lovely, so no doubt my circle of friends will also increase .
As a novice to allotment growing, I'm hoping to share and receive help on the perils and highs of growing., and to exchange any information that may be of use to others. So any comments would be helpful.
I love walking so can't wait to share that in this blog too. I walk by myself but occasionally with a friend, I'm not 'mad, have to walk 20 miles a day' type of walker, but enjoy walking for the shear fun of it and also to take in all the beauty that is around, which is free....a bonus.
Well I'm off to search out my next walk and later I will be' 'frugal shoppiing'. More about that later
